Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our services. By booking a discovery call or purchasing a coaching package, you agree to these terms.

1. About MedX Careers

MedX Careers is an independent career coaching service providing NHS application and interview coaching to healthcare professionals in the United Kingdom. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NHS England, NHS Jobs, NHS Digital, or any NHS Trust or Foundation Trust.

2. Services We Provide

MedX Careers offers the following services to clients:

  • NHS supporting statement writing and review
  • CV rewriting and NHS formatting
  • Values based interview (VBI) coaching
  • Application strategy and Band targeting advice
  • Ongoing career mentoring

The specific deliverables for each service are described in the pricing packages on our website and confirmed via email at the point of purchase.

3. No Guarantee of Employment

Important: MedX Careers does not guarantee job offers, interviews, or shortlisting as a result of using our services. NHS recruitment decisions are made solely by NHS employers. We provide expert guidance to maximise your chances of success, but final outcomes depend on factors outside our control.

Any case studies, client results, or testimonials featured on our website represent individual outcomes and are not a guarantee of similar results for all clients.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is required in full before work begins on your application or coaching session. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Bank transfer (sort code and account number provided on invoice)
  • PayPal
  • Stripe (debit/credit card)

Payment confirms your acceptance of these Terms of Service. Receipts are provided upon request.

5. Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with our work. Our refund policy is as follows:

  • Before work begins: Full refund if you cancel before we start your application or coaching session.
  • After delivery: We offer unlimited revisions until you are satisfied with the delivered work. If after revisions you remain dissatisfied, we will discuss a partial or full refund on a case-by-case basis.
  • No-shows: Coaching sessions missed without 24 hours' notice will not be refunded or rescheduled without charge.
  • Discovery calls: Free discovery calls carry no charge and therefore no refund policy applies.

To request a refund, contact us at support@medxservice.com within 14 days of delivery.

6. Client Responsibilities

To ensure we can deliver the best possible work, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your experience, qualifications, and employment history
  • Supply the job description, person specification, and any relevant materials before work begins
  • Respond to requests for clarification within a reasonable timeframe
  • Review delivered work and request revisions promptly

MedX Careers cannot be held responsible for outcomes resulting from inaccurate information provided by the client.

7. Intellectual Property

All supporting statements, CV rewrites, interview preparation notes, and other materials produced by MedX Careers are created for your personal use in NHS job applications only.

  • You may not resell, distribute, or share our written work as your own coaching material
  • You retain ownership of all personal information and materials you provide to us
  • We retain the right to use anonymised, non-identifiable elements of our work for training and quality improvement purposes

8. Confidentiality

We treat all client information with the utmost confidentiality. We will not share your personal details, CV, supporting statements, or any other materials with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

MedX Careers' liability to you in connection with any service is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service. We are not liable for:

  • Unsuccessful job applications or interviews
  • Decisions made by NHS employers
  • Loss of earnings or employment opportunities
  • Any indirect or consequential losses

10. Acceptable Use

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are applying for roles you are genuinely eligible and qualified for
  • All information you provide to us is truthful and not intended to mislead NHS employers
  • You will not use our services for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
